Este lo hizo\nconocer, en 1928, en un escrito que tiene por título: tfUn texto\nAónükün'k (Patagonia meridional) para incitar a la caza, obtenido\npor Juan Federico Hunziker en 1861. Publícalo Félix F. Outes,\nprecedido de una introducción y notas aclaratorias, publicado por\nla Revista del Museo de La Plata, T. XXXI.\nEn dicho escrito, el autor ocupa catorce páginas y media hablándonos difusamente acerca de los métodos de caza entre los Pa\ntagones y sobre la ceremonia preparatoria, y sólo en las dos páginas\nfinales (367 - 68) presenta lo que el título anunciaba.\nA propósito de esta ceremonia, T. Schmid así se expresaba\n(Manners and Customs of the Patagonian lndians, en The Voice\nof Pity for South America, vol. VII (1860), p. 220, y F. Outes, op.\ncit., p. 366): ^Occasionally the acting Chief will issue a verbal proclamation to tell his men to go in search of provisions. He stands\noutside the tent, and speaks in a loud voice, and in a peculiar\nsing-song tone. Aquí\nlas expresiones poseen cierta eficacia representativa; las imágenes\nno son vulgares tampoco y el desarrollo del pensamiento, hay que\nreconocerlo, procede con un \"crescendo\" digno de consideración:\nel propósito de cazar, del verso primero, nace con la sensación\nde hambre, agravada al notar que los hijos también la sufren y\nnada tienen a su alcance. De allí la necesidad ineludible de salir de\ncaza. Se presenta entonces a la mente el lugar donde abundan los\nguanacos; de ellos, el pensamiento va a la calidad de su carne, a su\nabundancia, para pasar, como consecuencia, también a los aves\ntruces y a su carne excelente.
