Nuestra lucha no puede terminar por lo tanto\r\ncon la sanción del Presupueste, ya sea bueno o malo; la FEUU\r\nha de realizar una* demostración de su poderío el mismo día en\r\nque a fuerza de votos, el partido de gobierno decrete para las /\r\nclases populares nuevos años de miseria. Pero no hemos de es\r\ntar solos, sino que justamente aquellos que son los más perjudi\r\ncados, los obreros conscientes de nuestra lucha y su trascenden\r\ncia, han de estar junto a nosotros, en procura de la mejor solu\r\nción para un problema que atañe a todos.\r\nPero los estudiantes, más que nadie, están interesados\r\nen el problema presupuestal de la Universidad. Y ese día, en\r\nque se juega definitivamente la batalla del Presupuesto, ha de\r\nser un día en que cada estudiante se defina en favor o en contra\r\nde la política del gobierno. En Humanidades, son\r\n\r\ncientos los que no pueden asistir a clase porque no hay lo\r\ncal ni sillas y exigen la remodelación del 3er. piso.\r\nTan sólo algunos^ejemplos, de la trágica situación.\r\n•La dependencia de nuestro país se hace mayor tam\r\n\r\nbién en el plano científico, cuando se coartan las posibi\r\nlidades de Investigación al no entregar rubros para ello.\r\n\r\nSe quiere una Universidad que vegete, sin profundizar en\r\nlos problemas de las ciencias naturales y sociales.\r\n•Se arriesga la salud de 6.000 uruguayos que periódica\r\n\r\nmente se atienden en el Hospital de Clínicas. La salud\r\nparece ser un lema, siempre que se trate de la salud de\r\nla burguesía.\r\n•Se pagan con retrasos las becas a más de 2.CO0 estu\r\ndiantes de bajos recursos provenientes del Interior, creán\r\ndoles dificultades para su permanencia y estudio.
